Deposits of foreign individuals and branches taken out of type C
Reversed part of Decree No. 377: deposits of foreign individuals and of branches of foreign organisations are no longer paid into type C accounts.
What it does
Decree No. 550 excluded from the type C deposit regime introduced by Decree No. 377 the deposits of foreign individuals and of branches of foreign organisations in Russia. Amounts already credited to type C accounts since 1 June 2026 under the deposit rule are paid out to the depositors in roubles.
Status, October 2026
In force. Deposits of foreign legal entities from unfriendly states remain under the RUB 10 million monthly cap.
